Firoze Madon
Blending precision with sensitivity, Firoze is part of the next wave of classical artists.
Born in the UK in 2004, Firoze’s early musical development was at the Purcell School for Young Musicians, where he studied piano with Patsy Toh and took lessons in violin and composition. During his time at Purcell he was a Keyboard Category Finalist in the BBC Young Musician 2022 and his performance was broadcast on BBC Four and Radio 3. He is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London, under the tutelage of Professors Dmitri Alexeev and Vitaly Pisarenko and is generously supported by the Victoria Robey Scholarship and the Kendall Taylor Scholarship.
He's has been the recipient of numerous prizes; most recently winning the pianist’s prize at the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier competition in 2024 and the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra’s Young Soloist Competition in 2025, which earned him the John Crawshaw Award and an opportunity to perform with the orchestra. This year he was also honoured to play a recital at Penn House for the Earl and Countess Howe and the Friends of the Little Missenden Festival. He was also invited to record Moments of Freedom by the composer Joanna Borrett, which was subsequently broadcast on RWSfm radio. Upcoming and recent performances this summer include a recital at Leighton House and a tour across the south of England. In addition, he will be appearing at the Ryedale Festival as a Waverley Young Artist and performing in Switzerland later in the year.
A versatile musician, performing piano recitals, concerti and chamber music. He has performed extensively across the UK, as well as in France, Italy, and the Netherlands, with concert appearances at notable venues, including the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, the Southbank Centre, Saffron Hall and the Philharmonie de Paris.
